One Day With Depression

This recording from July of 2011 is being posted today in gratitude to friends who have walked today to bring awareness to the problem of Suicide and Mental Illness. If you have ever thought about suicide then you understand how quickly a person can go from holding on to the brink. Please reach out and call someone or ten someones. This video is also posted in memory for friends and family members who have lost loved ones to Suicide. You are always in my prayers.

As with more people than would probably care to admit it, this is a major problem in this nation-even now impacting young children (8-12 years of age, also teenagers). The causes are many, and books have been written on this subject. Your message is well taken=reach out and touch someone or 10 someones.

    1. Thank you and God bless you!

Depression is a devastating disease. It attacks people no matter the age, race, gender, or socioeconomic status. With jobs being lost, no income or minimum income and no insurance, depression is quick to rear it’s ugly head. It is like spinning down through a tornado; however, all need not be lost. Given hope, unconditional love, a gentle touch and medical treatment, the people finding themselves in this situation can overcome this demon. You are so right…reach out and touch someone today. You may save a life.

    1. So good to hear from you again friend. I pray that you are well.
