It is Annual Conference Time !!!

Hello Upper New York Annual Conference United Methodists, and anyone living in the greater Syracuse area who is interested in the issues of Spirituality and Religion and those of us who might be old enough to carry and AARP card. (mine is not in the mail yet but I am sure they know where I live) . It is finally Annual Conference Time and the Older Adult Ministries Team of the Upper NYAC will be well represented at the On-Center by Tom DeLoughry who is the Chair of the UNYAC OAM Team and Brian McCaffrey of the Northeast Forum On Spirituality and Aging or NEFOSA, please look for them in the Table area !!! The rest of the team will take turns at the table and will be on the conference floor. The OAM team will also hold an informal meet and greet at the Sheraton University Hotel beginning between 7 and 7:30 on Thursday (Tomorrow) night. Remember the Shuttle busses do run until 10pm. This meeting is in a private dining room in the Rachel’s Restaurant. The Hotel is graciously providing the space for free, with the knowledge that we are not likely to order much because we will have already eaten dinner, but if you feel so inclined, please order coffee, dessert or anything on the menu and remember the wait-staff.Finally, please seek me out on the conference floor ! I will be the big gal with the bright red hair ! I usually sit to the far right of the On-Center in the rear section of seats and I plan to this year as well. Please feel free¬†leave a comment here indicating that you would like to get in touch with me and I will make sure to send you a private e-mail. ¬†Please also, if you have books or resources that you think others would benefit from, bring them to the meeting tomorrow night. God Bless you in your life and in your life’s work !
