As a second year seminary student at the Drew Theological School, I am learning more and more each day about God, God’s love for us and for the world as well as God’s mercy and grace. My hope to continue to grow into the love that Christ offers and to share it with others in this world. I serve many roles within my church (Christ Episcopal Church in Glenridge/Bloomfield, New Jersey). These roles include serving as an Acolyte/Crucifer, Chalice Bearer, lay reader, and Co-Chair of the Men’s Group. This past summer, I felt another calling to serve as a member of the Church’s Prayer Team. When I am not serving in some other role on Sunday, I assist the Prayer Team by meeting with fellow parishioners and praying for them to help them to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This honor that has been granted to me is a true blessing and I now ask people who I see in distress who may be walking in a parking lot or coming out of store if they would like me to pray for them. This action allows the Holy Spirit to reach those people who have not heard God for whatever reason. This is a ministry and a cause that is close to my heart. Thanks be to God!
Don and Christine would like to thank Len Roberts for his witness and for his dedication to the people that he ministers to.by
